Life seems pointless and without purpose, but where there is hurting, Ami brings healing, using the superpower of voice to help people overcome and turn their pain into power. Over 20 years ago, Ami founded Red Siren, a contemporary interdisciplinary cultural arts and educational institute based in San Francisco and Washington DC. She travels the world as a speaker and Cultural Arts Ambassador in partnership with the U.S. State Department and the United Nations. With her Magic Of Music As Medicine programming Ami collaborates with governmental, health, non-profit, environmental, and social justice organizations, hosting Music-Spirit Health Conferences, conducting Hope And Healing Retreats, helping at-risk populations, women and girls of color, even the terminally ill, to promote healing and wellness through the arts and activism. She has performed internationally on radio and television.
